Golden Growls Senior Rescue is a 501(c)3, non-profit, foster based organization dedicated to bringing love, solace, and quality veterinary care to senior shelter dogs. Our goal has always been to rescue the dogs who need it the most. According to the ASPCA, senior dogs only have a 25% adoption rate compared to the 60% adoption rate of younger dogs. Senior dogs are often overlooked due to their age and medical ailments. No dog deserves to spend their days in the shelter, but certainly not a senior dog.

All our dogs go from the shelter directly into foster homes. They receive any and all veterinary care they are in need of before they are ready for adoption. We pride ourselves in only rescuing the amount of dogs we have foster homes and funds for.
