GCFLF was founded by award-winning financial thought leaders Prince Dykes and Chadrick Davis, Navy Veterans, friends and collaborators of the popular YouTube channel and podcast The Investor Show. Prince and Chadrick, through reflection of their own lives, recognized a dire need for financial education among young Americans in diverse and underserved communities due to the financial illiteracy of the generations before them.
The duo decided in 2017 to create a nonprofit based on the groundbreaking children’s financial literacy book series Wesley Learns created and written by Prince based on the real-life story of him sharing the financial knowledge he has learned and passed along to his son Wesley.
Currently, the series introduces children to the financial topics of investing, credit, and insurance with plans to increase financial topics over the coming years. As we grow, we will continue to work to educate and inspire young people, instilling in them a lifelong commitment to excellence in personal finance.

Global Children Financial Literacy Foundation (GCFLF) is a nonprofit organization that leverages the power of financial education to help future generations build a solid foundation of financial literacy through our children’s financial literacy book series Wesley Learns. We target young people living in underserved and military communities in U.S. cities, imbuing them with the financial savvy necessary to live financially secure lives. Our goal is to establish Wesley Learns as the premier children’s financial literacy book series that introduces kids to the world of financial literacy.
