The Blackout Fieldhouse is proud to participate in Colorado Gives Day to ensure that every child in Western Colorado has the opportunity to play, grow, and compete—regardless of financial ability.
At the Blackout Fieldhouse, hundreds of kids train every week in basketball and volleyball. The fieldhouse also hosts the Youth Empowerment Program for students. This program develops strong bodies, focused minds, and resilient character through structured training, mentorship, and leadership development for youth and teens
Our goal is to keep programs affordable so that no athlete is left behind.
Your donation helps keep sports affordable for families in Mesa County and rural Western Colorado; supports youth athletes through scholarships; and builds life skills, teamwork, and leadership for over 5,000 youth annually.

GJ Blackout Basketball - GJ Blackout is a youth basketball club based on the Western Slope in Grand Junction, Colorado. The philosophy of GJ Blackout is to develop individual player skills in basketball, to encourage a lifetime love of the game of basketball and to teach the important skills of being a part of a team. GJ Blackout is a volunteer, non-profit organization.
Mesa Juniors Volleyball - Mesa Juniors is the longest tenured volleyball club on the Western Slope of Colorado. They aim to allow players to specialize in volleyball while still participating in other sports and activities. Mesa Juniors forms teams from 6th graders all the way to high school seniors. Mesa Juniors Volleyball Company is a not for profit organization entering our 21st season.
