IGNITING PHILANTHROPY
Give! is a year-end philanthropic initiative that sparks philanthropy across generations and lifts our neighbors through the invaluable work of local nonprofits, which are the backbone of our thriving and diverse community.
As a catalyst for change and growth, Give! specializes in raising awareness of smaller organizations whose messages need to be heard.
Additionally, Give! builds future philanthropists by focusing on donors aged 36 and younger. Our Young Donor Challenge inspires nonprofits to find innovative ways to connect with young people by awarding cash prizes to the nonprofits that attract the most donors age 13-36.
The Give! Campaign has been inspiring philanthropy and supporting nonprofits in the Pikes Peak Region since 2009.
We Do this by:
1. Partnering with various local media outlets to support the campaign.
2. Educating El Paso and Teller County residents about the vital work undertaken by
community nonprofits, particularly those that are small and innovative and power philanthropy in the Pikes Peak Region
3. Encouraging locals who do not currently support Pikes Peak region nonprofits to start
donating money and time, with particular emphasis on catalyzing philanthropy among
those age 36 and under.
4. Increasing the fundraising and marketing capacity and the long-term visibility of selected
Pikes Peak regional nonprofits.
5. Providing selected nonprofits with a philanthropic platform, including training, media
exposure, volunteers, board engagement, and financial support.
