Your Colorado Gives Day gift helps Friends of the Children – Colorado make a 12+ year commitment to children and families—from Pre-K through high school graduation. As the nation’s first and only long-term mentorship program, we support both young people and the caregivers who help them succeed.

Your donation directly supports the long-term relationship between paid, professional mentors (known as Friends) and youth. Together, they set roadmap goals, celebrate wins, and build the kind of trust that only comes from someone who never leaves:

♦ $25 – Provides basic school or activity supplies for a child.
♦ $50 – Covers transportation costs for a Friend to connect with youth at school and in the community.
♦ $100 – Funds enriching outings and activities, like museum visits or special events, that a Friend can do with a child.
♦ $250 – Supports family engagement resources such as transportation assistance, family nights, or caregiver support needs.
♦ $1,000 – Invests in the long-term, 12+ year commitment to a child and their caregivers, supporting staff training, program evaluation, and wraparound services.
