Help Freedom Acres Give Horses and Kids Hope

Every bale of hay, every vet visit, every hoof trim makes a difference.
Your donation directly feeds, heals, and shelters our rescued horses —
many of whom came to us terrified, underweight, and broken in spirit.

At Freedom Acres, your generosity doesn’t just rescue animals — it helps kids, too.
Through our Sibling Equine Assisted Learning and Coping Program, children with ill siblings learn
empathy, confidence, and calm from the same horses who once needed saving.

When YOU Give, you create a circle of healing —
from horse to human, and back again.

Freedom Acres began with two abused baby draft horses —
Auta and Hotu, meaning Strong Bow and Blazing Arrow.

Now 9 years old, “Bow & Arrow” symbolize the strength and spirit
at the heart of our Native culture and our mission.

In 2019, we saved 16 wild mustangs — including three pregnant mares — from a tragic fate.
These majestic horses arrived scared and confused, but today, they are thriving and learning to trust again.

Now, we’re building more than a sanctuary. We’re creating a space for healing and connection —
where rescued horses help kids coping with illness in their families find comfort and courage.

But caring for these animals is costly. Hay, medical care, farrier visits,
and sanctuary upkeep are ongoing needs, and we urgently need a barn
to store hay and provide a warm space for our youth programs this winter.

Your gift today keeps our herd healthy and our programs growing
— and ensures that every horse, and every child, has a safe place to heal.

👉 Please donate to help us feed, shelter, and care for the Freedom Acres herd.
