Our organization aims to build community through rhythm. We move to give back to the master artists and culture-bearers who bring their invaluable knowledge and culture to our organization. By honoring the origins and teaching what we have been taught, we celebrate the cultures that inspire us. We offer community classes for drummers and dancers of all ages and abilities. We also offer performances, bringing high-energy, interactive, and educational performances throughout the community. Our goal is to create spaces for intercultural exchange, connection, and celebration.
We are a multigenerational nonprofit 501(c)(3) collective that brings people together through the powerful rhythms of primarily West African drumming, dance, and song. We are dedicated to learning, teaching, performing, and sharing what we love, driven by passion, joy and deep respect for the cultual traditions we study.
We offer weekly community classes, vibrant public performances and inclusive workshops with master artists and culture-bearers. We serve people of all ages and experience across Northern Colorado and beyond. Creating spaces for intercultural exchange, connection, and celebration.
By honoring the music's origins, supporting its artists and inviting others to participate, we aim to build community through rhythm- and to move people in dance, spirit, and in celebration of the cultures that inspire us.
