The FNDcourage Retreats, held at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado, are truly one-of-a-kind experiences designed specifically for individuals with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and their care partners.
In 2024, FNDcourage hosted two unique retreats—one for teens and one for adults—offering an unparalleled opportunity for connection, learning, and support. There is nothing else quite like these retreats, making them a cornerstone of community and empowerment for those navigating life with FND.
In 2025, FNDcourage will continue its tradition of hosting transformative retreats, but we need help to make this possible and to help those who want to attend. To keep the cost as low as possible for participants and volunteers, we rely on donations to help cover food, lodging, educational materials and tools, and scholarships.

Background Statement
Thousands of people are diagnosed with functional neurological symptoms every year. Many lack basic access to treatment and support due to location, socio-economic status, or mobility issues.
We are on a mission to end this healing crisis.
What is FND?
Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) is a disorder of the nervous system where the brain doesn't send and receive signals properly. It causes a wide variety of symptoms which can be debilitating and impact every aspect of a person's life, from their ability to work and socialize to their overall well-being.
At FNDcourage, we are creating a world where everyone diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder has equitable access to health care and well-being.
