Flatirons Habitat for Humanity

A nonprofit organization

In these difficult and unstable times, it's a reminder of how important home is. Too many families in our community are cost burdened or living in overcrowded conditions. Flatirons Habitat for Humanity is committed to being a solution by offering affordable housing solutions in our community.

"We feel positive about our home, proud and empowered."

"The biggest impact in getting our home was how my sons' attitudes changed about school and it made them work harder to reach their goals."

"We had no future ahead of us. Now we are homeowners."

"My sons and I were living in a one bedroom apartment without any safe areas for them to play. Owning our home provided them with their own rooms, a safe place to play, and caring neighbors/another Habitat family next door. It's been a wonderful experience and I am and will continue to be forever grateful."

"I was given the tools to go forth into the world in just the way I wanted. It's empowering. You still have to do the work, but having the tools? You can't replace that with anything, really."

Our mission:

Building strength, stability and self-reliance AND shelter. People in our community and all over the world partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their houses alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.

A world where everyone has a decent place to live. No matter who we are or where we come from, we all deserve to have a decent life. We deserve to feel strength and stability day after day. We deserve to know we have the power to take care of ourselves and build our own futures. At Flatirons Habitat for Humanity (FHFH), this is what unites us. Through shelter, we empower. Our shared vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
