First Peoples Community Center

A nonprofit organization

PCC is dedicated to supporting local Indigenous individuals and families through education, cultural connection, access to resources, and health-focused initiatives. In our early growth, we have built a Native library, launched our Tribal Citizenship & Community Education Series, supported Culture Nights, provided transportation to the Denver March Powwow, and hosted community events like the Bison Blessing We are committed to continuing this work and growing into a centralized space where Native people can gather, connect, and learn.

Mission

The First Peoples’ Community Center (FPCC) is a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is responsive to the needs of Native American/Indigenous people in the City of Fort Collins and the surrounding area. The purpose is to support the community to connect to each other and to the land and its inhabitants. FPCC will create a forum to identify and illuminate traditional values and support healthy traditional lifestyles in balance with the modern world. We seek to foster a community that is resilient, respectful, inclusive and recognizes the diversity of Native America.
