Testimonials

We absolutely love Firestone Charter Academy. Our kids have had wonderful teachers that clearly love their students. One thing we appreciate the most about the Firestone Charter Academy staff is their commitment to not only teaching academics to our kids but core virtues as well, building their character. Our kids are being taught so much more than math and science. They are being prepared for the real world through the combination of a rigorous curriculum and core virtues. We have also loved and appreciated how Firestone Charter Academy teachers communicate so well with us, and are teaching our kids to communicate clearly along the way. We feel each teacher has empowered our kids to grow and learn. We are grateful to be a part of this community.

Since enrolling our kids at Firestone Charter Academy, we have seen them grow academically, which while important is not the reason we love it. We love it because Firestone Charter Academy has a culture unlike other schools we have experienced. It is a tight-knit community, and in today's society where connections are hard to make, Firestone Charter Academy has figured out a way to connect with families on a personal level. As parents, we get to make ongoing choices that affect our children's education, and that gives us a great buy-in to what they are doing. It has always been more important to us that our children love learning. The love of learning outweighs academic success to us as a family, and the teachers at Firestone Charter Academy challenge our kids in a way that fosters that love of learning. The school communicates with us on a regular basis so that we never feel left out or that we have fallen through the cracks, and we really appreciate that in addition to the other things mentioned.

We love Firestone Charter Academy for the smaller class sizes. I feel like my kids get more one-on-one needed instruction. I love the uniforms; it makes it so much easier to get them ready in the morning, and they still have a lot of choices in what to wear. We love the teachers and staff; they know my kids and truly care about them and want to help them succeed. I like the middle school; it is a smaller environment, in a time in a kid's life when friends and their environment can play such a big role, and because it is smaller, the teachers are more aware of what's happening and can help them get through these tough years.

We wanted a school that was located in a neighborhood. We have loved having the girls attend Firestone Charter Academy because of the Core Knowledge curriculum. The atmosphere of the school, in my experience, has always been positive. The faculty has encouraged volunteers with open arms. My oldest headed to Niwot High School in the Pre-IB program. We have Firestone Charter Academy to thank for her preparedness. We have seen the school grow in the after-school activities. There seems to be something that interests all. So if you want a positive, challenging, caring, fun, and diverse education for your child, then Firestone Charter Academy is the place for you. We have watched the school grow right alongside my girls.
