Colorado Family Resource Centers connect families with comprehensive, coordinated services that help families achieve their own goals for success. Programs at each center are tailored to the culture, resources, and needs of the community they serve and focus on building on the strengths of each family member.
The Family Resource Center Association (FRCA) supports a network of Family Resource Centers across Colorado. Family Resource Centers follow the Colorado state statute guidelines for operating as a Family Resource Center and utilize FRCA’s robust evidence-informed service delivery model. The statewide technical assistance that FRCA provides to local Colorado Family Resource Centers supports each local center in implementing best practices in supporting and uplifting families.
The Impact of Colorado Family Resource Centers
The Family Resource Center Association supports family resource centers in their work to help families and communities thrive. In 2025, Colorado Family Resource Centers:
- Served over 122,000 individuals
- Provided over 60,500 referrals to link families with needed supports
- Enrolled over 9,900 individuals in family strengthening classes
- Provided over 110,875 packs of diapers to families
- Provided family development to over 4,200 individuals
- Distributed over 6,380,000 pounds of food

Background Statement
Strong families build resilient communities! The Family Resource Center Association was created in 1998 to support the vital work of Family Resource Centers serving families across Colorado. Family Resource Centers connect families to the community resources they need to be safe, stable and thrive. Today, FRCA strengthens a network of 28 Family Resource Centers serving families across Colorado with a culturally-sensitive approach customized to each family's goals and the community in which they live.
