Family for Families is a not-for-profit organization created by the Coors family owned and operated businesses to support team members experiencing a financial hardship.
When life's unpredictable challenges hit, this confidential support program enables our work family to assist individual team member families in need - removing the weight of an unpredicted event. Each of the Coors Family businesses is committed to matching every donation dollar-for-dollar that is donated to Family for Families. Together, we can change the outcome of each other's difficult life circumstances and by doing so, we create a supportive family culture.
Family for Families began in 2019 to respond to the growing need of assistance during unexpected financial catastrophes.
In 2017, Hurricane Harvey devastated Texas and some team members of our included companies had lost everything. Team members elsewhere were deeply concerned and began donating funds to assist them. From the generosity of this event, Family for Families was born to give team members an official avenue to donate to one another when they are facing the toughest times of their lives.
Since then, Family for Families was able to quickly able to assist many team members when the COVID-19 pandemic led to furloughs and lost income. F4F also quickly assisted with the 2021 Winter Storms in the south. Thanks to the generosity of team members and company matching, F4F is able to assist during these difficult moments in team members lives.
