Tonight, a parent in Larimer County will tuck their children in somewhere that isn’t really home. It might be a car, a borrowed couch, or a shelter bed. Tomorrow, that same parent will still go to work, get the kids to school, and keep everything together on very little sleep.
Family homelessness is rarely about a lack of effort. It’s about rent that keeps climbing, a paycheck that doesn’t stretch far enough, or one unexpected emergency with no safety net underneath.
We believe no family in our community should be without a home. And with your help, we can make that true.

Last year, 95% of the parents we served found or started jobs while in our program.
This year, we’re also growing. Our new shelter facility means we can double our capacity and welcome more families and offer the space and dignity they deserve.

Family Housing Network helps families reach lasting self-sufficiency, quickly and with dignity, through a full range of stabilizing services. We do this in partnership with a diverse network of faith communities and partner agencies.

Our work doesn’t happen alone. Volunteers and member congregations from across Fort Collins give their time, their hospitality, and their hearts, and in doing so they build a stronger, more connected community.
We’re also committed to learning and growing. We train our staff and volunteers to challenge stereotypes about poverty and homelessness and to treat every guest with respect and understanding. We continue to have honest conversations about race and inclusion among our staff, guests, volunteers, and neighbors.
