About Expunge Colorado
Expunge Colorado is a women/BIPOC-led 501c3 nonprofit that strives to provide meaningful change to individuals who have been negatively impacted by a criminal record. We are dedicated to providing education and events to increase access to record sealing for eligible criminal cases in Colorado.
Why We Exist
A criminal record has devastating lifelong consequences that can affect families for multiple generations. Colorado law permits many charges to be removed from public view yet few individuals experience the relief of a sealed record due to the complicated and costly process. We exist to alleviate the legal and financial burdens put on individuals who want and deserve a fresh start.
Expunge Colorado is a women/BIPOC-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to increasing access to record sealing through education and pro-bono legal services.
We believe that sealing eligible criminal records from public view helps restore economic opportunities, justice, and dignity to people deserving of a fresh start.
Since 2018, we have hosted an annual record sealing event free to the community in the Denver Metro area.
