Imagine If...

You worked hard every day, balancing bills, rent, and groceries... until one unexpected event changed everything. A medical emergency. A job loss. A car repair you couldn’t afford. Suddenly, the paycheck that once covered everything doesn’t stretch far enough.

For thousands of families across Metro Denver, that’s not a far-off story, it’s reality. On any given night, an estimated 9,000 people in our community experience homelessness. Many are parents doing their best to keep their children safe while trying to find their footing again.

At the same time, apartment communities across the region have hundreds of open positions, good jobs in property management and maintenance, waiting to be filled.

Wouldn't it make sense to connect the two?

That’s where Entryway Denver comes in.

Launched in August 2023, Entryway Denver is part of a national nonprofit organization with over a decade of success helping people facing situational homelessness — individuals and families who are ready to work but have lost housing due to life-altering events like job loss, domestic violence, or medical crises.

Through a proven model, Entryway connects participants with:

✅ Career training and employment in the multifamily housing industry

🏠 Stable, affordable housing, often located onsite with their new employer

💬 Ongoing wraparound support for up to one year after placement

The impact is immediate...participants often start a new job and move into a fully furnished home on the very same day. It’s a life-changing step toward stability, dignity, and independence.

Testimonial - Aaliyah, 2024 Entryway Denver Hired Participant

I had a great career. Then a family crisis derailed my life, and as a result I lost my job, then my home. Entryway sounded too good to be true after all I had been through, but I needed a new beginning and nothing else had seemed to be happening for me. I took the leasing courses and prepared for my interview. Simpson Housing gave me a chance. Now I really began again to believe in myself. I know there are second chances and new beginnings. To have someone there for you, cheering for you as you go through the process, knowing you're not alone made all the difference. I love my new apartment with its big, arched windows. It's a quiet place where I can read and have my own space. It's something I haven't had in a long time."

💛 Every Dollar Counts. Every Gift Builds Stability 💛

When you give to Entryway Denver, you’re helping someone move from homelessness to hope, step by step. Your donation directly supports real needs that help individuals and families get back on their feet:

  • $10 helps provide a bus pass or gas card so a participant can get to work or training.

  • $25 helps someone get to a job interview or complete onboarding paperwork.

  • $50 helps provide professional clothing or basic household essentials.

  • $100 helps set up utilities in a new home.

  • $250 provides a month of groceries for a participant and their family as they settle into their new home.

  • $500 funds career and technical training for participants preparing to start new roles in the multifamily housing industry.

No matter the amount, every dollar adds up to something life-changing.

When a community comes together, one gift at a time, it means more jobs filled, more homes occupied, and more families reclaiming their futures.

Together, We Can Change the Story!

Entryway Denver launched in August 2023, and already, our early participants are taking life-changing steps toward stability, independence, and opportunity.
