English Learning Center

Your generous donation to the English Learning Center supports immigrants and refugees to learn English as they become a part of their new community in Denver, Aurora, and the surrounding metro area. With all-volunteer teachers and a small part-time staff, every dollar you give is leveraged to support newcomers to Colorado.

Here’s how your support makes a difference:

• $25 covers the cost of a student workbook and teaching supplies. 

• $50 helps support teacher training events, enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. 

• $100 provides a partial scholarship that allows a student to make ends meet while pursuing their learning goals.

• $200 provides a full scholarship for a whole semester.

• $1,000 covers the ELC's rent for an entire month, providing a safe learning environment for five classes a day to over 100 students.  

Thanks to your generous donations during the 2025-2026 school year, over 200 adults learned English, shared culture, and built community. Thank you very much for investing in our students!
