Elevated Communities was created with a heartfelt mission: to stand beside individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and brain injuries, and their families, as they build lives filled with confidence, independence, and joy.

In our community, so many people with IDD and brain injuries simply need a hand to find their place and their purpose. With your support, we can help them build confidence, independence, and a true sense of belonging....one person and one program at a time.
Elevated Communities mission is to support Boulder County community members in need of accessible and safe space to overcome barriers towards self-sufficiency, provided through individualized, strength-focused advocacy, resource navigation, and employment readiness strategies.
Elevated Communities was founded in April 2021 to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities navigate the complex systems of supportive resources in Boulder and Weld County. We are committed to providing guidance, advocacy, and direct support to promote independence and confidence. In November 2022, we opened the Elevated Communities Gently Used Clothing Boutique to offer job skills development in a safe and supportive environment. The boutique provides hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world work experience. Our programs create opportunities for personal growth, employment, and community inclusion. Our work continues to evolve to better support those we serve. At Elevated Communities, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive.
