Edwards Foundation for Rescued Animals

A nonprofit organization

The Edwards Foundation for Rescued Animals was established in 2006. The mission is to provide a rescue for large animals in need of adequate care and feeding. Edward's Farm includes 5 acres in rustic Parker, Colorado that provides for the animals who are in need of constant care, and provides ample space for large animals to roam.

As a rescue, Edwards Animals accepts animals who have been surrendered or confiscated by legal authorities due to abuse or neglect. While some animals can be rehabilitated and rehomed, for others, Edwards Animals provides a safe and forever home.

In addition to its rescue efforts, Edwards Animals also provides educational opportunities, activities and workshops.

Lynda Edwards, co-founder and former school teacher, is the backbone of Edwards Animals and provides daily structure for volunteers to learn about the care of animals.  Lynda also organizes workshops and activities for groups for people of all ages, interests and abilities.

Mission

Provide a safe and tranquil environment for rescued animals with educational opportunities for the public and community with inclusion for all.
