Easterseals Colorado is fostering an inclusive Colorado by ensuring all people with disabilities, older adults and caregivers have the programs and supports they need to live, learn, work and play in schools, workplaces and throughout our local communities.

We support children and adults living with disabilities with many programs throughout the state, including Employment Services, Adult Day Programs, and Rocky Mountain Village (RMV) Camp. At RMV campers can enjoy a safe, barrier-free environment for children and adults living with disabilities to experience all aspects of camp without usual limitations. Here's what one RMV camper, Garrett, has to say about it!

Garrett describes camp as a place filled with laughter, love and people who are genuine and care. "[At RMV] the counselors really take the time and effort to understand each camper's unique needs, likes and dislikes, and make sure I'm always having a good time." Neither Garrett nor his parents feel any hesitation during camper check-in time anymore. "I know now that I'm bound to have a good time, make good friends and be well taken care of."

Mission

All abilities. Limitless possibilities.

Leading the way to full equity, inclusion, and access for people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers across Colorado by enhancing well-being, expanding employment, and elevating community.

Our vision is a future where people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers all have the opportunity to thrive and fully participate in our communities.

Background Statement

Easterseals Colorado formed in 1926 as the result of a grassroots effort to help children with disabilities. Over time, our mission expanded. Today, Easterseals Colorado is dedicated to serving people of all ages living with disability. The organization has grown from a handful of concerned citizens to a leading direct service agency serving more than 13,000 individuals and their families annually.

As a vital resource for all people with disabilities, older adults and caregivers in rural and urban communities across the state, Easterseals Colorado provides programs and supports that enhance quality of life and create opportunities for greater independence.
