ECCBC works on behalf of all young children birth through age 8 in Boulder County. Through working with our family serving agency partners, we aim to ensure that all young children arrive at school healthy, well adjusted, and having been exposed to the fundamentals of learning.

ORGANIZATION HISTORY
The Early Childhood Council of Boulder County (ECCBC) is a collaboration of individuals and community agencies that represent early childhood interests across Boulder County. The council was originally established as a taskforce in 1998 and has since grown into an organization with the mission to expand and improve quality early childhood services for families in Boulder County. The focus of the organization's work has remained the same over 10 years - to coordinate the development of a comprehensive early childhood system for Boulder County. The comprehensive early childhood systems is an affordable, accessible and coordinated network of programs and services for young children and their families, financial sustainability for service provision, and policy and planning.
