The purpose of Durango Rapids Soccer Club is to teach and promote the game of soccer and guide all players through a journey of self-development in a competitive environment for success in life.

Background Statement
DYSA, dba Durango Rapids Soccer Club, is a non-profit organization with 258 members and 17 teams. We are devoted to the development of the sport of soccer in and around the Durango area. DYSA is committed to educating young people aged 8-18 about the importance of sportsmanship and fellowship while providing a high quality soccer experience that will give them a strong foundation to build upon. The Shootout tournament is our primary fundraiser for the year and offers businesses visibility for the 140+ local and visiting teams.
The philosophy of DRSC is to give every interested child the opportunity to play soccer and with your help we can continue to provide financial support for each player requesting financial assistance. Over the Fall 2024-Spring 2025 soccer season DRSC provided 21 families with scholarships, for a total of $12,100 to youth soccer players and their families. These scholarships, based on individual financial need, helped cover club registration fees, uniforms and tournament costs. Sponsorship contributions also support player development at practices, games and tournaments. Also, DRSC pays 58% of every player's cost therefore reducing our registration fee supporting every family in our soccer community.
