Living in Douglas County, Colorado, offers so many distinct benefits – more than 63 thousand acres of open space, 146 thousand acres of recreational areas, great schools, quality lifestyle and a strong economy - just to name a few. Where we live, however, does not make us immune to the problems and catastrophes experienced by the rest of Colorado. Wildfires, school shootings, impact of the pandemic, homelessness, and food insecurity affect residents of Douglas County.
This is where the Douglas County Community Foundation (DCCF) comes in. DCCF exists to responsibly manage philanthropic contributions, maintain agile funds and serve as a conduit in emergencies, inspire local giving, and provide resources and support to local nonprofit organizations serving the needs within our community.
The DCCF vision is to cultivate a community where people elevate one another and have the resources and support to live a healthy, engaged and fulfilled life. With your support, we can turn that vision into a reality.
