Background Statement
Since our founding in 2007 by a group of dedicated business and community leaders, the Denver Fire Department Foundation has been committed to providing critical resources to enhance firefighter's safety and quality of life, and giving them a better chance of returning home to their families at the end of the day. Denver Fire Department Foundation has continued to work closely with leadership and operational staff to advocate and raise funding for the needs of the Department through grant writing and resource acquisition at the city, state and federal levels, as well as through private donors.
