Day at a Time (DAAT) is a nonprofit community recovery club in Lakewood, Colorado. We provide safe and welcoming meeting spaces for 12-step groups, fellowship events, and sober activities. Our club is a place where people at every stage of recovery can find hope, healing, and connection.
Our mission is simple: to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for recovery. DAAT exists to support 12-step groups, build fellowship, and strengthen recovery through community and service.
Programs & Services
Meeting Space: Hosting 60+ 12-step meetings every week, reaching hundreds of individuals.
Sober Fellowship: Social events, service opportunities, and community meals that bring people together in recovery.
Support & Belonging: A welcoming environment where anyone seeking sobriety can feel at home and never alone.
Each week, DAAT provides recovery support to over 400 people in the Denver metro area. Our doors are open every day, giving people in recovery a safe place to connect, heal, and grow. Members often tell us, “This club saved my life,” and that sense of belonging continues to ripple outward into families and communities.
DAAT is funded entirely by meeting rents, membership dues, and community donations. Every dollar raised goes directly into keeping our doors open, covering rent, utilities, and maintenance. Without community support, we cannot continue providing the space and fellowship that so many people rely on for their sobriety.

The purpose of Day at a Time, Inc, a Colorado 501c3, is to assist 12-step recovery groups to achieve their primary purpose. The DAAT club shall provide safe and welcoming meeting spaces and related facilities for 12-step meeting and groups and may initiate social or recreational fellowship activities among club members and their families.
Day at a Time (DAAT) was founded by people in recovery who wanted more than meeting space—they wanted a safe and welcoming clubhouse where community could thrive. Today, DAAT hosts dozens of 12-step groups and provides a “home base” of fellowship, support, and belonging. Our club ensures that recovery is never done alone, offering hope and connection—one day at a time.
