D.A.W.N is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was conceived in 2016 which was founded & created to assist in implementing the non-formal developmental education framework that promotes self regulation, a sense of belonging and self assuredness.
Through sustained engagement, tailored programming, and supportive relationships. Our goal is to help ensure that the youth experience significant academic, social, and personal growth. This helps them develop critical skills, such as leadership, emotional intelligence, adaptability, critical thinking and financial literacy; preparing them for future success.
Our mission is to infuse non-formal youth development approaches, designed to integrate academic advancement, foster behavioral and social-emotional development, and provide support in navigating confidence challenges and societal pressures.
With years of dedicated youth development, our efforts have contributed towards building a resilient and thriving youth community equipped to fostering long-term positive outcomes to positively shape the future.
Additionally, we've established a supportive community and mentorship network that will provide ongoing guidance and encouragement, while empowering the youth to navigate challenges and pursue their goals with confidence.
