The Cultural Caravan seeks to prove culture as a powerful agent of change within our community by operating at the intersection of small businesses, social-service nonprofits, municipal organizations, and local arts to present world-class performers in low-cost or free events in mainstream and offbeat venues, and to include a wide diversity of voices in the process.
Since 2021, the Caravan has presented 100+ events in more than 60 venues. Our ever-growing artist roster includes 80+ musicians—most of them local—who are diverse in genre and background. We encourage them to curate personally representative programs and design events to attract audiences of all ages and interests. The Caravan collaborates with and drives support for more than 60 local businesses; we forge meaningfulpartnerships with social service nonprofits and municipal organizations; and—to date—we’ve reinvested more than $400,000 into the community through inclusive communal cultural experience.
