CrossPurpose

CrossPurpose is a non-profit organization abolishing relational, economic, and spiritual poverty through career and community development. To that end, we offer a free, six-month career and community development program for unemployed and underemployed adults. We combine personal support, soft skills development, career training, and job placement to address holistic issues that hold our neighbors back from escaping poverty. 

To date, more than 1,145 people have graduated and found long-term careers with promotional opportunities, generating over $25 million of wealth per year. To date, more than 2,862 men, women, and children have escaped poverty through CrossPurpose' programs. 

Our comprehensive job training program covers 13 distinct career tracks across a variety of high-demand fields, such as construction, healthcare, culinary arts, administrative services, and the trucking industry. We are proud to offer this transformative program entirely free to our participants, who we refer to as Leaders, empowering them to build meaningful and sustainable careers.

Starting November 1, when you set up a new monthly donation through ColoradoGives.org, the Colorado Gives Foundation will fully match your donation, up to $100. By giving to support our mission, you help create opportunities for Leaders to unlock their potential and drive generational change.

Here are some examples of how your gift can directly impact the people in our program:

$50 - Provides CrossPurpose curriculum and classroom supplies for one Leader 

$75 - Covers the cost of CPR trainings

$100 - Covers the cost of job interview training for 3 Leaders 

$200 - Covers a monthly stipend given to a Leader to provide necessities while they train for a new career 

$300 - Covers the cost of supplies for a Leader who becomes a trained welder 

$500 - Covers the cost for 2 Leaders to receive administrative assistant certifications 

$1,500 - Covers the cost of a weekly relationship-building community meal for Leaders and volunteers 

$5,600 - Covers the cost of CDL trainings
