Crested Butte Development Team

The Crested Butte Development Team is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to give the youth of our community a fun and safe outlet to explore the amazing mountains of Crested Butte and the Gunnison Valley with mountain bikes our vehicle for fun. Our primary focus is to create lasting memories and provide each rider with not only superior bike handling skills but, more importantly, life skills - on and off the bike - that they will carry into their adulthood. We strive to instill a respect for self, our teammates and our community while practicing our very best trail etiquette. We help foster better humans first and better riders second. Oh yes, and we help kids have a blast, outdoors, with friends, all summer long!

As an organization we have long been focused on keeping our programming fees as reasonable as possible, consistently offering the lowest-cost youth mountain bike programming in the valley. With our focus on lean, efficient operations and making every penny count, we maximize the value of every dollar that comes in the door, be they from registration fees, our fantastic sponsors, community grants or the absolutely incredible people like yourselves who value our mission and choose to donate to CB Devo.  As we look to the future with exciting opportunities to keep improving our programming, our safety, our training, the breadth of population we can serve, and acknowledge the reality of the world becoming more and more expensive, your support is more meaningful now than ever.
