Youth Sports Giving Day is Sept 3 - 17
We excited to announce our participation in the second annual Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day, a two-week giving campaign kicking off on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2025, at 6 p.m. This statewide initiative unites hundreds of nonprofits to break down barriers and expand access to sports for Colorado’s youth.
Last year’s inaugural event raised an incredible $3.7 million for 175 local nonprofits, enabling organizations like ours to offer subsidized court time to underserved youth, participate in youth outreach programs, coach student athletes and more.
From Sept. 3-17, donations for the Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex can be made directly through our Colorado Gives platform giving page HERE, ensuring simple and impactful contributions. Your generosity will help strengthen our programs and give every child in greater Steamboat Springs the opportunity to play, grow and thrive through sports. Tennis Center at the Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex!
Tennis Center at the Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex! The Steamboat Tennis & Pickleball Complex (STPC) is a public facility operated by Court Sports 4 Life (CS4L). CS4L is a nonprofit established in 2019, to manage the day-to-day operations of the
Steamboat Tennis & Pickleball Complex, plan for the future of facility, and make courts and activities affordable to Steamboat area visitors and guests.
STPC is nationally acclaimed as a public recreational treasure for its facilities and programs. The new Pickleball Center and upgraded Tennis Center are already providing everyone with more ways to enjoy quality recreation with family and friends, leading to improved mental and physical health, increased sense of community and, of course, fun!
The Steamboat Springs Tennis Complex has served the Steamboat Springs community for over 30 years, winning several national USTA and industry awards for the quality of its facilities, programs, coaching and customer service, and today, is undergoing renovation. Cost estimates to refresh the Tennis Center were between $2M - $3M, with needed repairs including replacing the exterior Tennis membrane that was installed in 2005, replacing failed insulation and lighting, resurfacing indoor tennis courts, and refreshing the Welcome Center, including front desk area, pro shop, locker rooms, and mezzanine. Renovation of the Tennis Center is taking place in two phases. Phase I includes replacing the exterior membrane, insulation and adding new lighting. Phase II will entail remodeling of interior spaces and resurfacing courts, which will begin after Phase I and continued fundraising efforts.
The facilities expansion project, completed in July 2024, brought 12 brand-new indoor pickleball courts to the community, via the new Pickleball Center, helping to keep up with the extremely high demand. This expansion project is funded entirely through private donations and NO TAX DOLLARS are being used! In 2025 and beyond, our attention has turned to the Tennis Bubble itself, which was in dire need of renovation. All of these improvements will allow us to increase programs for youth, adults, seniors, under-resourced families, and adaptive athletes.
The past year has been exemplary, and recent achievements include the following:
- Complex awarded 2025 USTA Outstanding Facility award at US Open
- Tennis Center Renovations kicked of in July 2025. Phase I includes new exterior membrane, insulation and lighting
- Over $30,000+ of subsidized court time donated to area nonprofits

- 8 new outdoor pickleball courts built
- New Pickleball Center hosted multiple national tournaments
- 28 parking spaces added

- STPC in the news! Extraordinary recent press here
Your donations will help us achieve more with all of these great programs and efforts. Please help us continue making the Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex better than ever before for our entire community!
