Cortez Area Youth Activity Center Inc

CAYAC is a non-profit organization dedicated to building and operating a youth activity facility. Our vision is to have a fun, educational, and life-changing experience for every youth who walks through our doors. Not merely a place for kids to “hang-out”, CAYAC offers kids:  a) lifelong skills, b) relationships with mentors, and c) a chance to become a mentor to someone else.

CAYAC is the only area organization offering tumbling, gymnastics, dance and cheer.  These activities offer real substance to the lives of the youth who participate in the form of confidence building, teamwork, physical exercise, and other positive skills. These are all values that not only benefit the youth involved but carry over into family dynamics and our communities at large. 

CAYAC strives for a robust scholarship fund to ensure that financial barriers do not keep local youth from participating and we greatly value the safety of every participant.
