CommunityWorks empowers the unemployed and those with barriers to employment to become self-supporting through job preparation and placement. Our vision is to see all jobseekers in our community employed and fulfilling their God-given potential.
CommunityWorks has been serving our community since 1995, restoring hope and empowering through employment. Over 37,000 people seeking jobs assistance have walked through our doors. Of those entering our Career Preparation & Placement track, over 6,700 have gotten jobs. Over 18,000 jobseekers have been outfitted with professional clothing for interviews and on-the-job use. Through our workshops, professional clothing closets, life coaching, case management/mentoring, job fairs, computer lab, support services, and huge doses of personal encouragement, we are able to equip jobseekers with the needed skills to obtain meaningful employment. And perhaps most importantly, we go beyond job preparation to include connections to real jobs.
