Colorado Rush, established in 2007, is dedicated to promoting the physical, mental, and social well-being of Colorado youth through soccer.  We offer programs for children of all ages, ranging from grassroots initiatives to highly competitive teams, with options that include day camps and year-round training.  With six regions across Colorado—Littleton/Lakewood, North: Thornton/Northglenn, East: Aurora, Mountain: Evergreen, Colorado Springs, and South: Pueblo—there's a place for everyone to play.

The Rush Core Values are an integral aspect of our club. Players, coaches, and staff are asked to learn and live by the Core Values to help them become better players and better people.

1. ACCOUNTABILITY - Be accountable for your actions and hold others accountable for their actions. Who am I ultimately accountable to, and who judges my work?

2. ADVICE - Seek out advice and aspire to be the best. In order to learn, we must be open to learning and consider the advice of others. Are you coachable?

3. EMPATHY - Empathy is at the core of solid relationships.

4. ENJOYMENT - Enjoy your work, this is a gift. The desires of diligent workers are satisfied.

5. HUMILITY - Apologize when you make a mistake. Forgive others and do not look back.

6. LEADERSHIP - Leaders strive to be trustworthy, honest and sincere. They posses traits such as integrity and honor. They are willing to serve others and sacrifice their own interests. Leaders are constructive and hardworking.

7. PASSION - Passion always trusts, always hopes and always perseveres. Passion never fails.

8. RESPECT - Respect everyone. Respect the opponent, the rules, your colleagues, your superiors and subordinates. Be thoughtful and considerate.

9. SAFETY - Our environment is safe. That includes the office, our travels, the fields and our bodies. Safety is not only physical safety from harm, but safety from ridicule and attack. We are comforted and encouraged in the club. We portray self-control and kindness to our staff, colleagues and players.

10. TENACITY - To be successful, persevere…persevere but do not be anxious. Fear no one. Be strong and courageous. Work when no one else is looking, even when the circumstances are not right and everyone else quits. Diligence never loses because it never quits. Outwork your opponent, and most importantly, work smart. Don’t wait for external inspiration. The people who go far do so because they motivate themselves and give their best, regardless of how they feel.

11. UNITY - Together all things are possible. When your teammates are down, bear each other’s burdens; conversely, celebrate your teammate’s successes.

Mission

Colorado Rush Soccer is committed to providing an unparalleled soccer experience for all who have interest in the game of soccer. Colorado Rush promotes the development of character, the electricity of competition and the importance of pure enjoyment. We accept the responsibility of teaching life lessons to our athletes to further their growth inside the game and out. We believe that all players should be afforded an equal opportunity to explore their potential and participate in challenging circumstances that will yield positive outcomes. We are committed to making soccer a pleasant, safe and rewarding experience for everyone involved, regardless of age or ability. Through quality coaching, sound leadership and absolute sincerity, Colorado Rush Soccer will work to be the best soccer club in the world.

Background Statement

Formed in 1997 through a merger of two local clubs (Club Columbine and Lakewood United Soccer Club) the Colorado Rush now serves up to 5,000 youth players on an annual basis. The Colorado Rush founder is Tim Schulz, a former professional and national team player who has also served as the US women's under-20 national team head coach and men's under-18 national team assistant coach.

Over the past several years, the Colorado Rush has become recognized as one of the premier youth soccer organizations in the nation. In 2002 the Colorado Rush began to broaden the scope of its proven coaching, player development and administrative methodologies to a national level. By linking qualified soccer clubs throughout the United States, the Rush conducts player and coach exchanges, promotes the sharing of information and knowledge, creates economies of scale, provides administrative and technical consulting, and maximizes the potential for fundraising and sponsorship support. The Colorado Rush is member of the United States Youth Soccer Association and US Club Soccer.
