At Colorado Learning Connections (CLC) we help create life-changing opportunities through education for students.  Through individual and group tutoring, we provide educational support for grades K-12.

CLC is dedicated to bridging access and income gaps by providing educational support regardless of ability to pay.  We request your help and donations to support our mission to provide tutoring at low or no cost to the working people of Summit and surrounding counties.

Testimonials: Our impact according to CLC parents

“ You all are amazing and I can’t thank you enough for everything. Not only are you all supporting D and allowing her to succeed. The support you all are giving us financially allows us to breathe a bit so thank you! ”

- 3rd Grade Parent, receiving 50% Scholarship

" Jones has a hard time focusing in class with groups of students. He does so much better 1:1 that he can't get in the classroom. Kaitlyn has done a phenomenal job at making my son feel welcomed and encouraging his academic mind! My son is much more confident as a result and feels more safe and comfortable learning.”

- 7th Grade Parent

" Tutoring at CLC has been invaluable for our son. We would not have been able to afford the services without the scholarship support.  We have so many other expenses for his learning that this has been a huge help for our family. ”

- Parent of a Special Education 4th grader with an IEP, receiving 100% scholarship

“So many things improved but the greatest one was his own drive. He started to be proud of learning to read, he wanted to share his successes, read on his own and had so much ownership in it.  He also learned that school was cool as he loved his tutor and couldn't wait to dive into the work. Since starting at CLC his reading level went up significantly.”

Mission

Our mission is to remove financial barriers to provide every student, including those with learning difficulties and English language learners, with individualized, accessible, and high-quality academic support, ensuring 100% of students reach their academic goals

Background Statement

Colorado Learning Connections (CLC) operates in Summit County, CO as the area's only independent education center, providing tutoring, test prep, college consulting, and group enrichment services throughout Summit County. CLC manages multiple programs to support our greater community, especially students with limited financial capabilities and special needs, such as, Our Opening Opportunities Scholarship Program (OOSP), Club Limitless with Project Thrive, Tutoring, workshops and study groups. These programs reach approximately 250+ students a year. Whether our own independent programs or being contracted by a local school system, CLC works to promote and support educational excellence in as many ways as possible.

In 2017, CLC obtained formal nonprofit status, allowing us to utilize charitable donations to fund support for students of families with limited ability to pay. Prior to that, CLC operated for over a decade as a for-profit academic tutoring organization. By becoming a nonprofit, CLC was able to expand educational support to historically underserved populations, including students from low-income or low socio-economic-status (SES) families, minority students, and those students who identify as English Language Learning (ELL).
