Colorado Feeding Kids is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide nutritious food to impoverished children in Colorado through local food banks and schools. We operate 100% on donations & sponsorships. Our meals cost $0.35 each. A donation of $70.00 provides 200 meals.

Colorado Feeding Kids creates dry, casserole-style meals—like our popular Mac & Cheese—that can be prepared at home with nothing more than boiling water. We supply food banks and weekend backpack programs with meals that are lightweight, nutritious, and easy to distribute. Hunger is rising across Colorado, and more children are facing food insecurity than ever before. Colorado Feeding Kids is working every day to meet this growing demand, but we cannot do it alone. As an all-volunteer nonprofit, operating since 2008, every donation made through Colorado Gives Day goes directly into producing our meals. Each meal costs just $0.35 for ingredients and packaging, and because we provide all meals free of charge to families, these costs grow quickly as need increases. We partner with community food banks across the state to ensure our meals reach children and families who need them most. Even a small contribution means more meals, more support, and more hope.
