Colorado Feeding Kids is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide nutritious food to impoverished children in Colorado through local food banks and schools. We operate 100% on donations & sponsorships. Our meals cost $0.35 each. A donation of $70.00 provides 200 meals.

Significantly reduce the number of hungry children in Colorado and feed starving children throughout America.
In 2008 South Denver Kiwanis club started Kids Against Hunger - Denver to pack a vitamin enhanced rice/soy meal to send to Haiti. Over the next few years we sent 1,500,000 meals to Haiti and Colorado food banks asked if they could have some of these meals.
Kids Against Hunger-Denver continued to send meals to Haiti and started creating nutritious and tasty meals for local Colorado Food Banks. In 2013 they became independent of Kiwanis creating Colorado Feeding Kids. They now make 7 nutritious meals for local food banks and school back programs.
In 2019 they distributed 650,000 meals to local food banks and schools. Since their start in 2008 this volunteer-based organization has packed and given away over 9,500,000 meals.
They are still a volunteer-based organization with approximately 5,000 plus volunteer hours per year. They rely on donations to purchase raw food materials which they bag into 6 meal pouches and give away to Food Banks, Schools, and Disaster Relief.
