We are making an impact with our programs in 2022.
Here are some examples:
Our Pathways to Early College High Schools Program (P-TECH) served 120 students in 2002, 54% were from underserved student populations. One-hundred mentors from our life sciences community supported this work.
The Biotechnology in the Classroom Program trained 31 teachers to support STEM learning in their classrooms, reaching 2,600 students, with 70% from underserved student populations.
Our Mentor Program connected 40 students with mentors from 13 companies in our life sciences community. Eighty percent of the mentees were female, and 25% were BIPOC students.
The Virtual Industry Showcase connected 67 undergraduate and graduate students from 5 Colorado universities with representatives from 10 companies.
Our Foundations of Leadership Program offered 37 emerging leaders from 22 companies an introduction to critical leadership and communications skills. Fifty-nine percent of the participants were female leaders.
The Executive Leadership Program brought together 18 executives from 13 companies for career-defining network building, peer-to-peer learning opportunities, and sessions with well-respected leaders from our community. 50% of the participants were women or BIPOC executives.
