$5,000 Goal

For 30 years, Colorado ACTS has been a magical place where your children have found their voices, their confidence, and their love for the theatre.  Hundreds of young performers have taken their first steps on our stage, and your families have been inspired, entertained, and brought together by our productions.

After almost three decades of serving our community, we are facing the very real possibility of closing our doors.  We don't want Spring 2026 to be our final season.

If our work has ever touched your life - or if you believe in the power of theatre to transform young lives - we ask for your help now.  Your donation, no matter the size, can help us keep our theater open and our stage a place where your children can shine.

Testimonials

"Absolutely fantastic program that is much needed in this world. The arts are of the utmost importance, especially when centered around children."

"My child has grown in all areas and we feel fortunate to have Colorado ACTS in our lives. It allows for students to develop skills, strengthen talents and develop new ones. It is affordable and from the communities perspective produces shows that are quality and affordable for families. Thanks!"

"Participant has social anxiety and general anxiety in addition to sensory processing challenges. Colorado ACTS was a wonderful experience for her."

"We love this local, community theater. My boys are in their second production and have caught the theater bug. It is so sweet to watch their technique improve. My boys 12 & 9 love the way the classes are run and it makes learning so fun. Classes are reasonably priced. Communication is great via update emails. We LOVE Colorado Acts."

"I loved that after day 1 of going to classes (my son) felt confident about being there. Thank you for helping show him his dyslexia doesn't stop him from doing great things."

"I so enjoyed the play last night, was once again shocked at the quality of what can be pulled together in two months! Mostly I am extremely thankful that our child has a safe place to spend time building confidence. Our child struggles with language and learning and a lot of other social type things. This is such an amazing way for our child to be around great, accepting people and be able to work toward an end result in something that is fun and rewarding. My husband and I are eternally grateful. Thank you for your hard work!!!"

Mission

The mission of Colorado ACTS is to bring quality drama education to the local community. Colorado ACTS empowers children to develop theatre skills, whether it's their first show or their tenth. Every student in every class gets an on-stage role.

Background Statement

Since 1997, Actors Company and Theatre School (Colorado ACTS) has provided exceptional theatre classes for children ages four to eighteen throughout the Denver Metro-area. The school is dedicated to empowering children and youth to develop communication skills to the full extent of their talents and abilities.

Since inception, Colorado ACTS has produced more than 500 shows. The organization is proud of the quality of theatre education that the students receive and the quality of the entertainment the audiences enjoy. Colorado ACTS educates youth in many areas, including interpersonal communication, discipline, memorization, teamwork, social skills, public speaking, reading and language skills.

By participating and engaging in theatre, students learn to set achievable goals for their future and develop creativity and problem-solving skills. To become innovative critical thinkers who shape the future of our world, youth need experiences that allow them the opportunity to create solutions to problems, a necessary skill for leaders in society.
