Our mission is to empower Colorado's youth through sports by fostering teamwork, leadership, and personal growth in a supportive and inclusive environment. We believe that no child should be denied the chance to play youth sports due to financial hardship.
Colorado's youth face numerous challenges that can hinder their physical, emotional, and social development—including limited access to structured sports programs, mentorship, and safe community spaces. For many families, the high cost of sports participation creates a barrier to the benefits that athletics provide: confidence, discipline, leadership, and belonging.
Recognizing these challenges, the Colorado Youth Sports Alliance (CYSA), operating under the Arvada Nighthawks banner, was founded to fill this critical gap. As a newly formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Littleton, Colorado, CYSA is committed to offering inclusive, development-focused athletic programs to middle school youth, particularly in underserved communities. With a focus on teamwork, character-building, and long-term growth, CYSA seeks to make sports accessible to all—regardless of income or ability.
