Colorado Nature League

A nonprofit organization

Championing Colorado's Wildlife and Rewilding Our Future Amidst a global extinction crisis, Colorado Nature League is determined to turn the tide in Colorado, home to hundreds of species at risk of significant decline or extinction. This includes such iconic species as wolverines, Colorado River cutthroat trout, swift fox, lesser prairie chickens, Canada lynx, peregrine falcons, boreal owls, rufous hummingbirds, bald eagles, bighorn sheep, gray wolves and more.

To address this challenge, under the leadership of former U.S. Senator Mark Udall, a diverse coalition of conservationists, wildlife scientists, sportspersons, and nonprofit organizations has come together to launch Colorado Nature League, an organization that is committed to protecting and restoring Colorado's diverse wildlife and the habitats on which they depend through science-based policy advocacy for nature.

Mission

Colorado Nature League’s mission is to protect, conserve, and restore Colorado’s native wildlife and habitats. We champion science-driven, innovative solutions for Colorado’s wildlife facing a climate and biodiversity crisis.
