Founded in 1949, the Colorado Council on High School/College Relations is a volunteer network of counselors and admission professionals dedicated to supporting Colorado students in achieving their educational goals. We strengthen cooperation and collaboration between secondary and postsecondary institutions to empower and inspire every learner.

Background Statement

The Colorado Council on High School/College Relations (CCHS/CR) is a volunteer, 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1949. Our membership includes Colorado high school counselors and college admissions professionals who work together to support students across the state. Each year, we produce the Colorado Collegiate Handbook, host professional development conferences and workshops for counselors and admissions staff, and coordinate college fairs where member colleges connect with students. Through statewide collaboration between secondary and postsecondary institutions, we provide resources and guidance to help Colorado students achieve their full educational potential.
