At City Park Alliance, we are committed to helping City Park reach its potential as the preeminent outdoor space and cultural destination in Urban Denver. We fund park improvements, organize volunteer events, promote park use, and support park programming and events.
As a steward of City Park, City Park Alliance promotes park use and supports park improvements for sustainable community enjoyment.
City Park Alliance was formed in 1999, emerging from the City Park Partnership Taskforce with a vision of enhancing City Park and having the broader City Park campus including the Zoo, Museum and Golf Course function as a cohesive park for all who visit.
Since 2004, City Park Alliance has worked in partnership with Denver Parks & Recreation, operating under an MOU with the City and as a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
City Park Alliance is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to a simple belief: exceptional public parks are built on strong partnerships between local government and nonprofits fueled by the generosity of the communities surrounding them.
