Children's Literacy Center

Since 1993, the Children’s Literacy Center’s only mandate has been to “build a life of success for children through a foundation of literacy….one child at a time.” The Children’s Literacy Center strives to improve the reading skills of an increasing number of underperforming children who need extra one-to-one attention. 

Beginning with one location and sixty-two children in 1993, volunteers continue to tutor using the Peak Reader curriculum at 19 sites in Colorado. Over CLC's tenure more than 21,0000 students have participated in the after school tutoring program.
