Charlie’s Guys was founded in 2018 after the sudden and unexpected loss of Charlie, 23 months old, who left behind his older brother and younger siblings. Charlie’s Guys provides gifts and experiences for children who have experienced the loss of a sibling or parent. The purpose is to provide each child with something to help occupy their mind in a positive way, which grief will so often control. The Charlie’s Clubhouse pen pal program provides children with a peer with whom they can connect who has experienced a similar loss so they don’t feel so alone on their journey.
