Charity Aviation provides free flights on privately-owned aircraft to organizations who can demonstrate a clear humanitarian or hardship need for such assistance. We are a non-profit corporation operating within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Charity Aviation is based in the Denver Metropolitan area. The focus of our work is currently centered in Colorado and the surrounding states. We fly in and out of any public airport, controlled or uncontrolled, which will accommodate the performance requirements of the aircraft. Examples of services which we provide to organizations include, but are not limited to:
Transportation of individuals in need of critical and necessary therapeutic medical treatment (dialysis, chemotherapy, etc.) to and from authorized treatment facilities
Transportation of medical supplies and medical equipment
Transportation of organs
Transportation of volunteers and affected parties to and from disaster zones
Transportation of service animals
Transportation of hospice patients and family members to and from hospice centers
