We are deeply grateful for the incredible generosity our community has shown us this season. After the heartbreaking theft of our costumes, your support helped us rebuild our beloved Nutcracker wardrobe, proof that when the arts need lifting, this community answers with generosity and kindness.
Now, as Centennial State Ballet’s wardrobe department begins creating costumes from scratch for an exciting new production, Beauty and the Beast, we once again invite you to be part of the magic. Every ribbon, stitch, and sparkle is made possible through donors like you.
Through our matching donation campaign, every dollar you give is doubled, meaning your gift goes twice as far in bringing beautiful performances to life. No contribution is too small; each one helps place another costume on stage and another dream within reach.
We are humbled by the kindness that surrounds us and honored to create art for such a remarkable community. Thank you for believing in ballet, in our dancers, and in the power of the arts to inspire.
Our Mission is to engage, enrich, and inspire the human spirit through artistically exceptional youth ballet education, performance, and community engagement.
Our Vision is to bring the beauty of classical ballet to the community through expressive performance. Instilling a lifelong love for ballet, we aim to nurture exceptional dancers who are resilient, confident individuals by promoting creativity, discipline, and a strong sense of community. With that sense of community, we strive to give back to all who would benefit.
The 2025/26 season "Timeless Transformations", Centennial State Ballet will enter its 14th season with a celebration of ballet’s enduring ability to evolve while honoring its classical roots. This thoughtfully curated season invites audiences to experience the transformative power of dance as it bridges generations, styles, and stories.
For performers, participation promotes and cultivates a variety of soft skills in preparation for a dancer's future endeavors, whether or not they choose to pursue dance as a professional career.
During the rehearsal process, youth company members must learn to be attentive, detail-oriented self-advocates who are aware of their responsibilities and the needs of those around them. They learn to work collaboratively to solve problems and to respond respectfully and kindly when others need their help. Our dancers develop a strong work ethic via this process, remaining committed to their excellence as well as the collaborative success of the overall production.
During performances, dancers must present themselves with clarity and honesty before an audience. They must react proactively to the challenges that live performance can bring, be it a different tempo in accompaniment or a misstep on stage. Through live performance, dancers realize they can prepare and work to improve their success; however, the overall success of the production requires the cooperation of hundreds of individuals, including staff and volunteers.
These powerful lessons are tools that, when coupled with desire, embody joy throughout the performing arts.
