Who is the Catholic Engineering Corps?

The Catholic Engineering Corps builds development projects with the compassion of Christ in the U.S. and abroad.  Teams of staff and volunteers, including engineers, architects, medics, public health experts, sociologists, and anthropologists, travel to project sites to complete the work alongside communities.  This is an organization with a uniquely Catholic Christian perspective.  It consists of both students and professionals. Projects are in all fields of engineering, including water, sanitation, structures (buildings, bridges), civil works (flood control, road repair), agriculture, energy, and information technology.  Projects consist of both long-term development and emergency aid.

Our mission is to share the love of Christ by addressing both the spiritual and physical needs of vulnerable communities through sustainable engineering solutions. Guided by Christian values, we provide technical expertise to ensure humanitarian development projects are designed, implemented, and maintained with integrity, cultural sensitivity, and long-term impact.

Finally, a Roman Catholic organization that has the technical expertise to ensure that development projects are done sustainably and collaboratively with communities served. Catholic Engineering Corps (CEC) brings the love of Christ while providing long-lasting engineering to those who need it in the U.S. and abroad.
