Background Statement
Cantabile Singers is a Boulder-based auditioned ensemble of 60 singers dedicated to high quality performance of choral music. Cantabile is a mix of professional and amateur musicians with diverse backgrounds and identities. We perform three programs each season with two concerts each. All programs are live streamed at no cost.
Cantabile performs an eclectic mix of music, from classical to contemporary, international, jazz and gospel. Concert programs are intentionally chosen to stimulate reflection and to challenge audiences and singers to think more broadly about how music informs, educates and betters our world.
Cantabile collaborates with other music organizations, musicians - including instrumentalists and singers - and composers in the Boulder area and beyond.
