The Christian Action Guild (CAG) is a non-profit organization that provides a sustainable food pantry and financial assistance to our community in crisis and/or experiencing hardship.
THRIFT STORE & FOOD PANTRY:
CAG operates a thrift shop and food pantry. Proceeds from the thrift shop are used to purchase food for the food pantry and fund other programs.

Mission
To provide a sustainable food pantry, financial assistance, and referrals to other community services to Golden area residents in crisis and or experiencing hardship.

Background Statement
CAG is a non denominational, 501(c)(3) non profit, volunteer charitable organization. It is controlled by an 7 Board of Directors and an Executive Director. CAG was incorporated in 1965 through the local family churches. CAG has occupied various buildings in the area until the present building was built by the community to provide a permanent home. As necessary, CAG refers clients to appropriate resources for ongoing assistance. The Food Pantry, Nutritional Food, Back to School, Holiday programs, and Thrift Store are the primary programs operated by CAG.
CAG is operated by volunteers and is dependent on donations as well as proceeds from our Thrift Store.
