The Catholic Schools Activities League (CSAL) provides Archdiocese of Denver students in grades 1-8 a variety of co-curricular opportunities, including many athletic sports leagues all rooted in the mission of Catholic education. CSAL emphasizes character formation over competitive success, teaching students the values of faith, sportsmanship, respect, humility, and graciousness in both victory and defeat. The program is designed to serve all students by fostering participation, growth, teamwork, and inclusion, regardless of ability level.
Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Denver unite the mission of the Church and the family, creating a “sanctuary of education” - a sacred place of transformative encounter with Jesus Christ where students grow in wisdom and virtue and discover God's great calling for their lives.
The mission of the Catholic Schools Activities League, in partnership with schools, parents, coaches, and volunteers, is to offer elementary and middle school students the opportunity:
• to grow in virtue
• develop their full potential
• become a more committed disciple of Jesus Christ
