Colorado Healing Fund

A nonprofit organization

The Colorado Healing Fund (CHF) was founded in 2018 by a group of victim advocates and community leaders to establish a secure way for the public to contribute to victims of mass casualty crimes in Colorado. Initial funding was provided by the Colorado Attorney General's Office. 

  1. COMPASSION: CHF provides immediate, intermediate, and long-term assistance and support to victims who experience mass tragedy in Colorado.
  2. SECURITY: CHF creates a safe and effective way for the public to make monetary donations to help victims of mass tragedy in Colorado.
  3. TRANSPARENCY: CHF delivers information about the funds used to assist victims of mass tragedy in Colorado in a timely manner with respect to the victim’s privacy.
  4. PARTNERSHIP: CHF collaborates with community stakeholders who are essential in collecting funds for victims in the aftermath of a tragedy.

Mission

The Colorado Healing Fund (CHF) assists local communities with the financial, emotional, and physical needs of victims of mass tragedies that occur in the state of Colorado. CHF will serve as the single point in Colorado for the collection of public donations in the aftermath of a mass tragedy and in conjunction with community partners CHF will coordinate the disbursement of funds to victims.
